How do I get the software to generate a third level for my factor?
DOE Wisdom only asks for a low and high level for your factor. The software automatically generates the third level based upon the factor precision value entered. For example, if the low level is 1 and the high level is 2 and the precision is 0.1, the software will automatically generate the midpoint to be 1.5. However, if the precision were entered as 1, the software would give an error message. There is no way to generate a midpoint between 1 and 2 when the precision is only 1.

The P(2 Tail) value in the ANOVA shows only ****. How do I get it to show an actual value?
If you assign factors to all of the columns AND do not run any replicates, the software cannot calculate the P(2 tail) values. It is best to run at least one more replicate. You can also get P(2 tail) values by removing one of the terms from your model.

When I copy and paste the ANOVA into Microsoft Word, the columns are not lined up properly.
In DOE Wisdom, select Edit and Copy. This will transfer the ANOVA to the clipboard. Open Microsoft Word and Select Edit/Paste Special/Picture. The document will then show a very small picture. Double click on the picture. Select the Size tab. Make sure the Lock Aspect Ratio and Relative to Original Picture Size buttons are checked. Adjust the width to a larger size and select OK. This will resize the picture to an appropriate size.
